Nos modelos para notebooks, a letra inicial do modelo nos dá uma indicação da dissipação máxima de potência do processador. "T" representa um TDP entre 30 W e 39 W; os com "P" têm um TDP entre 20 W e 29 W. "L" indica um processador com TDP entre 12 W e 19 W. Os modelos com dissipação menor do que 12 W começam com a letra "U". Já a letra "S" em alguns modelos significa que eles usam um encapsulamento BGA menor, com apenas 22 x 22 mm, sendo voltados a notebooks compactos. TDP, Thermal Design Power, indica a potência máxima que o processador pode dissipar, isto é, o cooler usado com o processador deve ser capaz de dissipar pelo menos esta quantidade de calor.
