Mouse no X.

Boa tarde pessoal.

Instalei o FC4 em um Dell PowerEdge 2500 porém estou tendo dificuldades para fazer o mouse funcionar no X e gostaria de saber se alguém poderia me ajudar.

Amigo, não precisa muito disso... O mouse, você configura na interface gráfica mesmo, ou na instalação. Mas p/ certificar que o dispositivo não está com erro, teste ele, antes de prossegir com a instalação...

Dependendo se for Xorg..., você pode ver o comando que configura o X, via modo texto... Daí, resolve o seu problema! Mas coloque sempre um mouse genérico USB com roolscrool... se for o caso! ;-)

Nunca precisei disso, nem com o Freedows, mas não era em máquina Dell... Mas não muda nada, o Dell é um PC, como qualquer outro! Espero ter ajudado, mano! ;-)

Se não me engano, o comando é xorgconfig... ;-)

Cara...seu mouse é PS/2 ou serial????

porque seu xorg.conf está apontando para um mouse ps/2....

se seu mouse for serial você resolve o problema facinho alterando as duas linhas em negrito:
