Hehehehe ontem entrei na BIOS e coloquei o FSB do meu Barton que estava em 185 (370MHZ) e mudei p/ 200 (400Mhz). Cara funcionou, ficou Athlon XP 2300Mhz...(tive que por Vcore em 1.7)...

Putz achei muito louco, mas to com cooler original no barton Box, ai achei melhor deixar o overzinho leve da assinatura mesmo....

Qual cooler vocês recomendam eu botar?

É seguro deixar com este clock de 2300Mhz mesmo depois de botar um cooler bom?

Se você conseguir estabilidade pode usar sem problemas.

Um cooler bom e barato, é o VCOM 21b.

EDIT: Teste a estabilidade do sitema com o Prime95.

Cara, estava pensando em fazer algo parecido. Fazer um over para FSB400 num Barton2500+. E para não precisar de um cooler potente, reduzir o multiplicador de 11 para 10.5 ou 10.

Olha só o que achei num site de overclockers:

I just got my 2500+ and was able to overclock it to 3000+ with no problems whatsoever. (...) You see, the 2500+ runs at a FSB of 333 (166*2) and a multiplier of 11 with actual MHz (FSB*Multiplier) of 1826. So, if you up the FSB (which you can do without unlocking your CPU) to 400 (200x2) you will get 2200 Mhz (200*11). That's is the setting for a XP 3200+! However, I wasn't lucky enough to actually be able to keep mine cool at those specs. I did, however, manage to get it to run at 400mhz FSB and a multiplier of 10.5 (the setting for an XP 3000+). I haven't tried to get a higher multiplier, but only because it would be pointless because what you really want is the highest multiplier you can get with the highest FSB you can get (Generally 200Mhz considering RAM and Chipset limitations)and for the 2500+ this is typically going to be either (if you're lucky) the stock muliplier (11) or the one below (10.5). Only thing though, is I had to raise to VCORE to 1.7

O que você poderia fazer é baixar o multiplicador para 11x mesmo como citado e deixar seu vCore em padrão(1,65), isso acarretará menor aquecimento. Quanto ao vCom 21b o ideal é labidar a sua base para um bom desempenho.
