XBox 360 compatível com mais de 200 jogos do Xbox

A Microsoft anunciou que, inicialmente, o Xbox 360 será compatível com 212 jogos originais do Xbox, número este que promete crescer com o tempo.

Para que os jogos “antigos” funcionem no novo console, os usuários que tiverem o 360 com disco rígido deverão inserir o disco enquanto conectados à Xbox Live, para que o software de emulação seja baixado. Quem comprar o 360 sem o HD, será obrigado a gravar um CD com o programa ou requisitar o disco à Microsoft, que o enviará pelo correio, cobrando uma taxa.

Uma boa notícia é que os jogos serão compatíveis no ambiente on-line para os usuários de ambos os consoles. Quem estiver rodando Halo 2 no Xbox 360, poderá jogar pela Live com que estiver com o jogo em um Xbox.
