Driver Para Mode Usr Winmodem

Veis sou iniciante em LINUX acabei de instalar a versão Slackware 9.1, mas tenho que baixar um driver para minha placa de fax US Robotic'a WinModem, aonde eu baixo isso??

Uma pesquisa nacional foi realizada e tem uma lista muito boa de hardware.

Também é possivel pegar este arquivo aqui que vai te dar informações sobre seu winmodem e o site p/ download.

Nada contra, nem querendo ser RUDE, mas eu não gosto dos WINMODEMs.. Eles tem "win" no nome hehehehe. Ele consome recursos..ah! deixa para lá! é só porque eu prefiro placas pci plug'n'play

REPARE que ali em MODEM TYPE esta escrito HSF, isso significa que eu vou pegar o driver HSF no site [ www.linuxant.com ], existem 3 tipos de modem, HSF, HCF, e RIPTIDE que e uma versao que tem a placa de som junto com a placa de modem acredito que seja isso, mas a placa em questao e HSF, então pegarei o DRIVER HSF [ http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/hsf/downloads.html ] como meu sistema e SLACKWARE 9 então nem adianta correr, o lance e pegar a versao SOURCE do modem [ http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/hsf/archiv...03042700.tar.gz ]

Pronto, depois de downloadeado faca o padrão...

escreva a senha do seu root

#make install

depois de instalado precisa configurar o modem

#hsfconfig

No caso de dar algum erro, tente não deixando o programa detectar seu modem, e voce mesmo poe as configuracoes dele...

Se o modem discar mas antes de ele testar a senha cair a conexao, abra um konsole e digite #ifconfig eth0 down

#ifconfig eth0 up

e tente reconectar de novo

Se conectar mas não estiver navegando, voce tem que editar o /etc/resolv.conf

bote algo assim

só um negocinho, se não me engano esses drivers da linuxant estão sendo cobrados agora cara, portanto, se for hsf me dá um toque por MP q a gente dá um jeitinho ai, não posso falar nada aqui no forum, mas por MP ou e-mail, não pega nada...
