mas se eu expandir vai continuar lento por causa do processador?

Tenho um notebook positivo sim+ com processador intel atom, memoria ram de 2 gb e HD de 320. Qualquer coisa que eu tente rodar fica lento, pensei que era a placa de vídeo mas percebi que até o Google Chrome fica lento. Não tenho certeza se amemória é expansível, mas se for, vale a pena expandir pra quatro gigas ou o problema é o processador?
