Placa De Som No Redhat 9

Olá galera,

Tenho uma placa de som (au8820b2) e preciso configurá-la no RedHat 9, como faço?

Consegui através de um site drivers para esta placa para o RedHat 6, descompactei em uma pasta, mas não sei mais o que fazer.

Os arquivos de drivers são: asp10.o, asp20.o, asp30.o, COPYING, Makefile, Mod_conf, README e vortex.c

No arquivo README, etá dizendo para descompactar em uma pasta e acessá-la.

Dentro da pasta onde estão os arquivos digitar make install20.

já tentei e como não tem o arquivo install20 tentei make asp20.o, mas também não funcionou.

Já tentei digitar make install20 dentro da pasta e não adiantou.

Pelo menos ele reconheceu a placa:::???Muda o saistema de som para Advaced linux arquiteture soun la em hardware e depois reinicializa...........talvez da certo....que placa de som e a sua::::::::::??????????

Eu tambem estou brigando com o meu redhat para instalar a placa de som, da uma olhada neste site http://alsabrazil.sourceforge.net/, la eles explicam como configurar placas que não sao ´suportadas na instalacao padrão do linux, eles explicam ate a compilar um kernel para dar suporte a placa de som. eu vou terminar de compilar o kernel hoje, e se tiver sucesso posto aqui como eu fiz, e quem sabe te ajuda.
