Problemas Configuração Video

Tenho uma placa de video nvidia gforce 7050/nforce 610i

mas não consigo inicializar o sistema em modo gráfico.

Quando tento a tela fica escura, sem nenhum ícone,como eu configuro???

Tento configura o Xconfig, mas não sei onde acrescentar a resolução que desejo 1680x1050.

willianmr, caso você não tenha lido as regras do fórum, leia. Seria bom que você dissesse que distribuição você está usando.

Se você já instalou o sistema e se você consegue entrar em modo gráfico pelo live-cd, você tem de editar o arquivo /etc/X11/xorg.conf e, se for o caso, acrescentar a resolução que deseja.

Também você pode tentar a opção no boot 'vga=866' (16-bit) ou 'vga=867' (24-bit) (1440x900)
