CoolerMaster V10 ou Hyper 612 em HAF 912Plus

Bom, sou novo no fórum e não sei se esse é o lugar mais adequado para postar, se acaso não for já peço desculpas.

Possuo uma Asus M5a88-M + Bulldozer FX-8150 + HAF 912 plus. Uso o cooler box no processador, porém queria trocá-lo por um v10 ou hyper 612 (R$ 240,00 e R$ 145,00 respectivamente) são as opções disponíveis na minha cidade.

OBS: gabinete vai conter os seguinter fan`s 200mm em cima, 120mm traseira, 120mm lado, 200mm frente

Minhas dúvidas são:

1- V10 / Hyper 612 cabem no gabinete sem precisar remover o gravador de dvd:confused:? ouvi dizer que o v10 fica batendo no gravador:(

2- Qual dos dois seria o melhor custo x benefício para mim? Visto que pretendo fazer apenas OC mínimos pois sou muito leigo no assunto, mais ja pensando em um futuro

3- Trocando o cooler do processador eu perco a garantia do mesmo? (sem fazer OC, apenas mudando o cooler)

1) Você não deve perder a garantia por não usar o cooler box.

No entanto, creio que por conta da garantia seja melhor guardar o cooler box.

2) Não sei dizer se o V10 é realmente um bom cooler.

Na minha opinião, ele não compensa em custo benefício.

3) O 612 é consideravalmente maior do que o 212 e no entanto pode não apresentar vantagem significativa no desempenho.

No site da NewEgg tem depoimentos de pessoas que trocaram o 212 pelo 612 e não viram uma vantagem significativa.

1) i had reviewed this before and gave it a good rating but after using it over a week i did not like the temps i was getting so i did a test between the hyper 212 and this 612 i reseated the 612 and did a 30min test with prime95 the idle temps were 28,26,29,25 at 100% load the temps were 79,82,83,78, then i mounted the 212 the idle temps were 27 25,28,23, and at 100% for 30min were 69,73,75,67 as you can see the 212 has better temp, at first i could not believe the 212 could be better than the 612 so i remounted the 612 one more time and i got close to the same temps as before so the 612 is going back, i think what makes the 212 better is the direct contact heat pipes all test were done with artic silver paste im using the 2600k @ 4.8 ghz with 4.4 vcore

2) cools good im using it on the 2600k overclocked to 4.8 ghz i replaced the hyper 212 + with this and im only getting a few degrees cooler idle in the high 20s and high 60s to low 70, 100% load

not worth the difference compared to the 212 its also about twice the size of the 212

3) I've installed this cooler on three different systems and have not had good results on any of them. My Hyper 212 actually has better performance. I've "retired" it to the least clockable rig (yes, I DO overclock) where it can do it's mediocre thing without me worrying about over-heating!

Huge, low build quality, difficult to install, performance is not so great. Even if you have access to the backside of the motherboard in your case, you either have to take the motherboard out, or it is a two person operation. This is because cooler is attached directly to the rear backplate instead of standoffs on the front of the motherboard. And it is huge and unwieldy - you cannot hold the backplate with one hand, and maneuver the cooler and screws from the front with the other. Even then it was difficult to access anything on the motherboard in my mid-tower case (define R3), because of the size of the heatsink. My mounting clamp was also defective - when tightened on all 4 points, there was not pressure on some parts of the cooler. This was because the brackets were not true. CM sent me replacements but I gave up because it was such a PITA to install.

I only have a picture of the result of the inadequate pressure due to the warped bracket t if you want me to post I will. I noted a buyer feedback with the same problem so it is not isolated to me

Absolutely not worth it. It is huge, hard to install (takes 2 ppl) , and mine didn't clamp down on th CPU properly. Even if it did, it probably wouldn't do much better than the hyper 212, which is half the size and easy to install and half the cost.

EDIT: I should add the mounting method is NOT the same as the Hyper 212. With the 212 you install posts on the CPU side of the motherboard to the backplate which is an easy one person job, then you can completely install and secure the heatsink onto the posts from the CPU side.

With the Hyper 612, there are no posts - you have to hold the heat sink in one hand and maneuver its mounting screws through the motherboard while with your other hand, put the backplate over the screws and start the nuts on the screws. In other words it takes two people whereas the Hyper 212+ can easily be done by one.

4) O processador FX-8150 tem a temperatura limite recomendada de 61C.

Na minha opinião pessoal, o 212 Evo tem o melhor custo benefício além de ser um cooler bem recomendado.

Se eu quisesse um cooler melhor do que o 212 não seria o V10 nem o 612.

Existem coolers mais conceituados como o Noctua e o Havik 140.

Em caso de over no seu processador, eu certamente buscaria coolers mais conhecidos e com melhores recomendações.

5) Em fóruns, só vi uma pessoa com o processador FX-8120 que optou em trocar o 212 pelo H100.

No caso, ele optou em trocar o 212, pois ele não não conseguiu manter o over que ele queria dentro de uma temperatura mais aceitável.

Mas pode ser que de 1 para 100 chips ele acabou comprando justamente 1 que acabou apresentando maior dificuldade no over.

o problema é que na loja onde montei o pc não trabalha com Corsair, se não eu iria pra um a70 pra cima, disponível ele tem esses dois que citei.

Pelo que você disse, mais ou menos o 612 tem um custo/benefício melhor que o v10 né? E no caso de comprar o v10, será que não vou ter que retirar o gravador de dvd?

1) Não sei te dizer sobre o V10 e o gravador de dvd.

Para ser sincero, não vejo necessidade do cooler do processador ter uma fan para o módulo de memória e ainda ter que se preocupar com o espaço que ela ocupa em cima da placa mãe.

As memórias atualmente não tem esse problema de aquecimento.

Boa ventilação no gabinete e algumas fans devem ser suficientes para as módulos de memória e a placa mãe.

Agora dependendo do processador e do over creio que um cooler com maior reconhecimento compensaria mais.

2) Não sei te dizer qual dois é melhor, o 612 ou o V10.

Entre esses dois, pelo preço eu arriscaria o 612.

3) A desvantagem que eu vejo no A70 é as 2 fans não serem PWM.

A fan tem 2 velocidades selecionáveis 1600 rpm - 2000 rpm.

Não sei como é o ruído das fans, mas creio que uma fan mesmo em idle a 1600 rpm pode incomodar um pouco.

Porém, ainda se tem a possibilidade de trocar as fans.

Bom, provavelmente eu vá de 612 mesmo, pois como eu disse a loja onde montei o pc não trabalha com cooler corsair =/, e como tenho uma bonificação na loja de 60 reais, para pegar o v10 sairia 180,00 e o 612 sairia 85,00.

O over que pretendo fazer mais para frente é algo bem básico, só para ir aprendendo sobre OC mesmo, coisa de leve =) .

e sobre refrigeração no gabinete ficaria assim:

1 fan 200mm CoolerMaster Megaflow (frente) jogando ar frio de fora para dentro

1 fan 120mm Decidindo ainda (lado) jogando ar frio de fora para dentro

1 fan 200mm CoolerMaster Megaflow (cima) jogando ar quente de dentro para fora

1 fan 120mm CoolerMaster não lembro modelo (traseira) jogando ar quente de dentro para fora
